Peach Sour Cream Pie Recipe


INGREDIENTS

1 unbaked pie shell
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
1/4 cup brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Combine sour cream, white sugar, flour and almond extract; stir until well mixed.

Place half the peaches in pie shell, then half the cream mixture. Arrange remaining peaches and top with remaining cream mixture.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 35 minutes more. Sprinkle with brown sugar and place under broiler briefly for 2 - 3 minutes until lightly browned. Watch carefully so sugar doesn't burn.
